Join the EDConnect Service & Channels team. In this fast-paced Contact Centre environment, you will be the first point of contact for school-based and corporate staff, providing vital advice on Finance, Human Resources, and Technical Systems.

Key Duties:
  • Deliver high quality customer service, through strong customer engagement in a high-volume contact centre environment.
  • Handle customer enquiries promptly and courteously while maintaining confidentiality and using discretion.
  • Identify, refer, and assign non-standard and more complex enquiries to a Centre of Expertise for action and resolution.
  • Maintain currency in knowledge of policy, legislation, and related business processes to respond to customer needs efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintaining accurate data records in a customer management system to ensure that customer enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Confidently use multiple technology platforms and databases
  • Must adhere and meet to Contact Centre KPI’s on a daily and monthly basis

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in Customer Service (Contact Centre, Retail, and F2F).
  • Tech Savvy: Ability to confidently use multiple technology platforms and databases simultaneously.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage yourself and show initiative.
  • Availability: You must be available to work a rotating roster (7.5 hours/day) between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

The Details

  • Salary: $35.15 per hour + Super
  • Start Date: 12th January 2026.
  • Contract Length: Until 26th June 2026 (with possibility of extension).
  • Training: 4-5 weeks of full-time training onsite in Newcastle.
  • Work Location: After passing training, work 2 days in the office and the rest from home.
